Between The Lines and Pages: Preview
Between The Lines and Pages is a feature-length film produced by the MVCC Film Club under Aidan Ferguson’s direction. Most members of Crows Nest Pictures played a part in the development of this film. The movie was produced over the 2022 fall semester and 2023 spring semester. It premiered at MVCC’s Wilcox Hall on May 8th, 2023. Here is the opening scene from the movie featuring the main character, “Sara,” building up the courage to speak to her long-time crush “Emelia.”
Wes Anderson Style Cinematography
This video showcases several productions with Aidan Ferguson and Jonas America’s artistic collaboration. These clips are taken from short films like, Between the Lines and Pages, Whodunit? as well as some independent projects. Aidan Ferguson takes heavy influence from filmmaker Wes Anderson in these examples.
Whodunit?: The Complete Cut
This Tarantino-inspired short film follows the Hawaiian Rainbow Gang as they assemble for their next big heist. Upon completion of the job, however, it is soon discovered that someone isn’t who they say they are. Watch as they try to uncover who among them cannot be trusted. Ferguson worked with many collaborators for this production, and it is one of his proudest pieces to date—the short experiments with various tropes to create a suspensefully amusing story about a gang of crooks.
